Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1 | Dibrugarh Airport to Wakro (190 Km/5Hrs)
Arrival & Start: Arrive at Dibrugarh Airport, have breakfast/lunch, and begin the 4-5 hour drive to Wakro.
En Route Stop (Optional): Visit Golden Pagoda in Namsai for a quick break and sightseeing.
Reach Wakro : Check into a homestay/resort, enjoy local food, and relax.
Overnight Stay: Rest early for the next day’s adventure
Day 2 | Wakro to Dong Valley(170 Km/5Hrs)
Morning Departure from Wakro: Visit Parshuram Kund, then start the 5-6 hour drive to Dong Valley
Stop at Pasuramkund: Take a break, enjoy views of the Lohit River, and continue towards Walong.
Visit Walong War Memorial: Pay homage to soldiers of the 1962 Indo-China war before heading to Dong Valley.
Evening Arrival at Dong Valley: Settle in a Resort, rest early to witness India’s first sunrise the next morning.
Day 3 | Dong Valley Sightseeing
Witness India's First Sunrise – Early morning trek to Dong Valley (arranged by us, trekking cost not included in the package, payable in cash) to see India’s first sunrise over the Lohit River.
Explore Walong & Hot Springs – Visit Helmet Top, Namti Plains (1962 war sites), and relax in the natural hot springs near Walong.
Lohit River & Kibithu Visit – Enjoy Lohit River views, explore Kibithu (India’s easternmost village), and see the Indo-China border.
Return & Night Stay – Head back to Walong/Dong Valley, enjoy local cuisine, and rest for the night.
Day 4 | Dong to Tezu ( 220KM/6 hrs)
Morning Departure from Dong Valley – Enjoy a relaxed morning and start the 6-hour drive back towards Tezu via Walong.
Stop at Walong War Memorial – Pay homage at the Walong War Memorial, honoring soldiers of the 1962 Indo-China war.
Scenic Drive Along Lohit River – Enjoy breathtaking views along the Lohit River and take short breaks at picturesque spots.
Evening Arrival in Tezu – Check into a hotel/homestay, explore Tezu town, and relax for the night.
Day 5 | Tezu to Anini (280Km/9Hrs)
Early Departure & Scenic Drive (6:00 AM - 9:00 AM) – Start from Tezu, drive through lush forests, and reach Roing for a short break.
Midway Stop at Roing (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) – Optional visit to Mayodia Pass, refuel, and continue the rugged journey through Dibang Wildlife Sanctuary.
Long Drive to Anini (12:00 PM - 4:00/6:00 PM) – Experience stunning landscapes, river valleys, and remote wilderness; carry packed food due to limited stops.
Arrival & Relaxation in Anini (Evening) – Check-in, explore the peaceful town, enjoy sunset views, and experience Idu Mishmi culture.
Day 6 | Anini Sightseeing
Morning in Anini – Start the day with a leisurely breakfast at your resort, soaking in the serene mountain air and lush greenery.
Mipi Village – Visit this remote yet beautiful village, interact with the Idu Mishmi tribe, and learn about their unique traditions, handicrafts, and lifestyle. Enjoy the scenic views of surrounding hills and rivers.
Chigu Camp – Explore this pristine campsite, known for its untouched beauty, dense forests, and mesmerizing landscapes. Endorsed by the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, it offers a perfect spot to unwind amidst nature.

Day 7 | Anini to Roing (250KM/9 Hrs)

Day 8 | Roing to Aalo (190Km/6Hrs)

Drive via Pasighat – Cross the majestic Dibang and Siang Rivers, enjoy breathtaking landscapes, and take a refreshing tea break.
Journey to Aalo – Follow the Siang River, passing through remote villages and dense forests, with a lunch stop en route.
Arrival & Exploration in Aalo – Check into your stay, explore the local market, and soak in the town's vibrant atmosphere.
Day 9 | Aalo to Mechuka ( 190KM/7hrs)
Morning in Aalo – Begin the day with breakfast at your accommodation and explore the peaceful surroundings before departing.
Scenic Drive to Mechuka – Enjoy a 6-7 hour journey through breathtaking valleys, rivers, waterfalls, and hanging bridges, with chances to interact with the Adi and Memba tribes.
Arrive at Mechuka – Check into a homestay or hotel in this mystical valley, renowned for its untouched beauty and rich cultural heritage.
Evening Exploration & Rest – Stroll through the town and local markets, savor a warm dinner with traditional dishes, and relax for the night
Day 10 | Mechuka Exploration
Morning Exploration – Start with breakfast and meet your local guide for visits to Samten Yongcha Monastery, Gurudwara Sahib Mechuka, and Hanuman Camp.
Afternoon by the Siom River – Enjoy lunch by the Siom River, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Mechuka Valley and snow-capped mountains.
Sunset Over the Valley – Witness a magical sunset over the valley, capturing Mechuka’s stunning landscapes.
Evening Relaxation & Local Cuisine – Savor a traditional dinner featuring Zan or Thukpa, followed by a restful night at your homestay/hotel.
Day 11 | Mechuka to Pasighat (280Km/8Hrs)
Start from Mechuka early morning (6:00 AM) – Drive through scenic mountain
roads.
Stop at Tato or Pidi or Aalo – Enjoy local cuisine and explore small villages en
route.
Reach Pasighat by evening – Check into a hotel
Relax and rest.
Day 12 | Pasighat To Dibrugarh Airport (150Km/3Hrs)
Start after breakfast or as per your flight departure time.
It takes approximately 3 hours to reach Dibrugarh Airport, so please plan your
departure accordingly.
Reach the airport on time and have a safe flight.

If the itinerary includes Tawang, taxi fare for visit to places in the outskirts like Bum La Pass (Indo-China border) with permit, Madhuri Lake sightseeing, Zimithang, and Chumi Gyatse falls is not included. Mandatory local taxis are required. (Approx per day cost: INR 5,500/taxi for Bum La pass, INR 8,500/taxi for Zimithang, INR 12,000/taxi for Chumi Gyatse falls).
If the itinerary includes visit to Shillong, local taxi required to visit Shillong Peak is not included. Mandatory local taxis are required.
Entry fees to the sightseeing spots, camera fees, and cost of all other optional activities (subjected to choice of package) like Rafting, Boating, Trekking, zip-lining and similar activities, Brahmaputra River cruise, Rope way ride etc. are not included in the package.
